The PMMD Lab has full access to the ANSYS Additive Manufacturing Lab at University of Pittsburgh. The AM lab at PITT houses five commercial additive manufacturing systems: (1) EOS M290 DMLS (2) Optomec LENS 450 (3) ExOne M-Flex & X1-Lab (4) Stratasys Object 260 Connex.

- Powder composition design for high performance metal additive manufacturing components,
- Post processing design for additive manufacturing materials.
